This year's Passover was hosted by the Grebe's.
Our community's tradition is to have a fellowship meal first, and afterward (once the children's tummy's are filled) sit down to conduct the formal Seder service utilizing the wonderful and worshipful Hagadah(s) from First Fruits of Zion.
Below you can also see where we placed our lamb crafts (to symbolically burn the last of the "leaven") on which we had written the sin(s) we were bringing before the Lord that night in order for the Lord to provide His redemptive power for us to overcome our flesh, choose life in those area, and experience renewed freedom from bondage to those sins.
OOPs! They were all out of the good grape juice, so Mrs. Grebe had to get the only thing she could find. Oh well, chalk it up to another lesson learned on how to best pre-plan for the Passover Seder.
She was a gracious host non-the-less, and we all appreciated her hospitality.
